free friday gallery

The Chicken Story (E told us she wrote a story about a chicken because it’s almost Thanksgiving. Chicken / Turkey…really, what’s the difference?)

The chicken is smiling at you. (These spellings followed her discovery that “night” was spelled with an -igh, so everything with a long i sound got a gh, or at least a g, for awhile.

He likes you very much. (“I like you” says the chicken.)

The chicken is saying hello to you. (That’s our other new thing – when someone answers back the words are written from right to left, and the letters are reversed.)

The end.

Wow!! Great spacing, punctuation, and spelling. She is something.
