The most devoted fan to this blog is my lovely husband. Occasionally, however, he likes to leave sarcastic little comments on some of my posts. Monday’s posted missive prompted online and in-house comments, somewhere along the line of “wow, when you finally get access back on the computer you really let it all out” or “you mean that people have to spend their entire lunch breaks reading your dissertation and they don’t even get one measly little picture to accompany it?” So after camp today E was doing her normal puttering around all things baby (as I described Monday) and so I took out the camera and got a few shots of it. So think of this post as the photographic accompaniment to my last free flow of thoughts (and read it just below – along with the comment if you must – if you haven’t already). Today there was more shadow modulation, a little blanket fluffing and the addition of cotton balls to the diaper changing area. All good times, good times. And while I could recount to you all the funny observations that she made this afternoon while puttering, I think, for brevity’s sake, I’ll wrap this up now, while I’m ahead.
Go on… as you were, now…
This was my cradle as an infant, and below is the new rocker that I’ve coveted for so many years.
I guess this means that I need to step up my campaign for ‘most devoted fan of this blog’, eh?
M…bring it!
😉
I’ve been misquoted. -M
