But I’m not…off to other things instead. This is a chocolate blackout cake that I first saw on America’s Test Kitchen, or maybe Cook’s Country…can’t remember exactly. But I looked back for the recipe when trying to decide what to make for a co-worker’s birthday this past week. For some reason I thought a three layer chocolate cake on a glass cake stand with a three-hundred pound glass cover would be an excellent idea to bake and take to work, along with an infant in a car seat, a six year old with a backpack and violin, one diaper bag, one work bag, one purse, one street parked (not garage parked) car, and oh… did I mention that it was pouring rain at the same time?
