After pretty much a whirlwind of a weekend, we spent the late afternoon and evening doing just this…decorating the tree on ladders and chairs, or laying under it gazing up at its magnificence.
And a fair share of kissing on the baby. The pictures are endless…we just looked at the ones we took today and couldn’t stop smiling at the girls. The camera sat nearby us this afternoon and we occasionally picked it up to take a shot or two as we made our way through the endless tissue wrapped ornaments and lights. Sometimes you look back at photos and they don’t quite seem to really represent the way something felt. Today, they did a pretty good job – good photos, a great day. I can’t decide, really, and it’s getting late, so I’ll sprinkle them throughout the week as we get our elf on around here. Big events most nights these week, but the kind that make this season so very enjoyable.
