you are missed (sort of)

Posted on July 6, 2010 by thirdstoryies
I’m not going to lie.  Sometimes even a forced departure from the connected world is nice to have.  Not starting up the computer at home for several days now hasn’t been the end of the world.  (Contemplating the loss of important files and vacation pictures has been a bit more discouraging.)  We had a nice weekend away, visiting friends and family and depositing the older child with grandparents for the week.  Our computer is back and being slowly rebuilt, and in between this effort has been some bike riding, some laundry and a lot of baby loving.  A little less time on the computer, and a lot more time pondering how this baby can be turning one.  Already.

Welcome.

This is a blog about an old house with a new life (and all the lives within it). There are plenty of stories to tell.
