We try to keep things sane around here with the gifts and limit them to family only. After the monkey party (and a good long nap) she opened a special gift from each family. It was the perfect amount, with a perfect gift opener. New shoes went on immediately and were pried off later. A new chair for her room was slowly revealed from under a blanket and climbed into, and several great toys have kept her busy all week. A perfect day now? Donning her shoes, dragging her new toys to the desk in her room, and climbing up on that big green chair to play with them.
