cheap labor

Posted on March 13, 2011 by thirdstoryies
A little wall patching, a few paint sample areas…
…trying to fit it in during naptimes, because the little one is oh, so helpful.
Two samples on the walls, photographs in artificial light.  These two grays look nearly identical on the samples, but are quite different on the walls.  Below in natural light.
The one on the left is winning – it’s a really neutral gray that recedes and seems to highlight the trim better.  The one on the right is a lot bluer and a lot brighter.  Next up – we’ll paint the rest of the sample paint on the entire wall between the windows, as well as repainting the adjacent trim (a brighter, newer white) and the ceiling (also a brighter, newer white).
Now, to finalize some bookshelf drawings.

Hi I just came over from Younhouselove and I enjoy your blog but I can’t seem to find a paint color anywhere. Can you please share the paint colors you have used?
