We had the busiest week ever this past week starting about ten seconds after we returned home from one of the busiest three-day weekends out of town. Little sleep, lots of pixie dust. E’s school holds a big Soiree each year with a silent and live auction plus raffle baskets, sign-up parties, etc… Every parent participates in some way. I’m on the bundling team and we’re responsible for taking a ginormous pile of donated goods and grouping and sorting and presenting them in ways that make them look good and bring in the dough. Luckily the team is a really fun, motivated group of women since our meetings tend to run five hours long and stretch out after midnight. These signs were for the four raffle baskets, and they went along with this year’s theme, “Never Grow Up”. Saturday was the big event, and the kids and a friend stayed up with the babysitter til midnight (ask E, she’ll proudly tell you that fact, again and again). Sunday afternoon we napped (some of us) and we’re still off kilter. Hoping for a quieter week with less meetings (only two this week – hooray!), and a little less of that pixie dust.
