We primed our egg hunt skills this morning. M was working a photo competition, so I was flying solo with the girls. The hunt was divided into two age groups, and since F was the little one (and clinging to my leg every time the giant bunny came into view) I stayed with her and sent E off to her group. We agreed to meet up at a certain tree after the hunt and compare baskets.
I was still keeping an eye on her way across the field, and I zoomed in as far as I could with my camera to see if I could get a shot of her trying to see us on the other side.
And then I remembered the new lens – not a lot of use for it indoors in the winter, but I think I’m going to enjoy it a lot this summer. Now that’s better – I like the ready to run stance.
Even the shot of the bunny at the far end of the field comes out like he was super close. “Close enough,” is what F was thinking I’m sure. What is it with my girls and costumed bunnies?
