Our freezer is slowly filling up over here. Just wishing I magically had one more night between tonight and tomorrow. Haven’t figured out how to do that just yet.

Looks like you must have a good recipe for the base. I have a kitchenaid ice cream maker but no luck making the ice cream and certainly not stable enough to store. Care to share any tips? Pretty please? With a cherry on top? 😉
I will do that – probably next week. Today I’m rushing around getting ready for the party. To tide you over, I have lots of ice cream recipes in the archives. Just type in ice cream recipes in the blog search bar and they should come up. I’m also completely smitten with Jeni’s Splendid Ice Cream Cookbook – I highly recommend it. Just the explanations and science behind ice cream making at the beginning is really interesting and makes a lot of sense. Plus her recipes are all egg free, which I think makes them a little bit better.
