admiring

Posted on October 23, 2012 by thirdstoryies
For a long time I’ve been dreaming of one day owning a Tulip Table – see my previous pinings here.  I saw this lovely round table yesterday on Design*Sponge, and I thought it was also a truly beautiful table – the owners stripped and refinished an old outdoor table stand, and then made the gorgeous table top.
So this is my own little version of high brow / low brow – and a nice, light filled space on this gray and dripping day.

Can I just say – that is an AWESOME idea! Oh wow… I love it. Maybe because it seems actually affordable, and unique but still in-style. I do dream of one day having a “tulip table” – is that what they’re really called? I just knew I wanted a round pedestal table… but I like the term tulip table better!

I agree – there’s something perpetually springy in the word “tulip”.
