snow day thoughts

Posted on February 21, 2013 by thirdstoryies

We’re watching the ice and snow fly out our windows, and enjoying some bonus family time in our coming-together-living room.  Even the pretend fireplace is warming us up a bit!  Meanwhile I’m watching the super white wall of shelving taking on more and more color as the shelves and cabinets are slowly filling.  I’m glad that we decided to hold off on recovering our pink cushions on our Poul Jensen Selig Z Chairs – I want to see them with the white couch and the other colors in the room before deciding on a fabric direction.  Here are some photos in my research to get the juices flowing…
Man, I love these chairs – what a lucky break!

Those chairs are great! And they really are versatile – the cushions look great in so many different colors.

I’m also looking out the window and cursing our conference call with folks in California which means I’m stuck at work for another couple hours. At least work is only ~1 mile from home – surely we can slip and slide our way there without too much trouble when we leave *fingers crossed* 🙂

Hope you made it home okay. It was a mess last night!

It was a mess! Fortunately we didn’t have too much trouble getting home – though it did take 30 minutes to dig the car out this morning (the apt complex plowed the driveway which meant we had a big pile of frozen snow blocking us in).

I assume y’all are enjoying another “snow day” together 🙂

It should come as no surprise I love the blue fabric version but they’re all good inspiration.
