This Friday found us at home with no plans – the perfect kind of Friday after the crazy two weeks we’ve had. I found myself unwrapping and unshelving more treasures and tinkering with the new bookshelves some more. Those yellow tulips are certainly making me smile. So is the reflection of me in the photograph with my phone. E continued her quest to wrap everything in the house with duct tape. We sorted through all of the toys, and miracle of miracles – they all fit into the new cabinets at the base of the shelves. Slowly but surely the dining room is looking less like a playroom and more like a room… that needs a lot of work. Slow and steady, I tell myself. Especially on a Friday.
