I’ve got a dozen things bookmarked that I’ve been admiring lately, and they all tie into projects / ideas that I’m working on right now. One thing I’m always thinking about is the backyard. It’s nearing the point of condemnation (although we continue to invite people over to hang out in it every Thursday – somehow they don’t hold it against us), and one of the big pieces of the puzzle will be a new fence.
So while I find these billboards extremely clever – what I’m really admiring is how the vertical surface transforms into something useful – a bench or a canopy or even a ramp to make a stair a little more user friendly.
I’d like a fence that does some of the same things – providing seating and shade and shelter. Mulling over some ideas along those lines right now.

As a person who HATES billboards, I could totally get on board with these. I think St. Louis only believes in giant ones that block any sort of view you may have while driving down highways.
