I’m playing catch up on some of the events from last week. I picked the platter up on Thursday afternoon and the colors looked great. We wrapped it up and took it to school for the kids to give to their teacher at the end of the day. The kids were really excited when she opened her gifts – first a basket of goodies for her new baby due a few days before ours, and then the plate that the kids had all contributed to. It was a smashing success.
If you think you might want to do something like this for a teacher you know, I’ve got a great recommendation for you (I’m going off duty for awhile!) – here’s the link to a friend’s web site and etsy studio – she does this kind of stuff all the time for people, and may put some of these photos up on her site.
…and a last day of school gap in the lower set of teeth. (The middle two teeth on the bottom are permanent teeth – they came in before the baby teeth fell out in front of them. The one to her left came out the night before the last day of school. It had been hanging by a thread and she finally just grabbed a tissue and turned to M and said “Pull it.” He got ready to, but then challenged her to do it. He counted to three and she did – just like that. The one to her right is so loose it tilts forward so it should come out any time now.)

We celebrated the end of our testing with a great ballgame at the park last night. Even with a little rain in the middle, it was a lot of fun being there. The rest of the past five days have been studying and more studying – not a whole lot to photograph or report. But we’re slowly getting back into the groove of regular life…
…just in time to throw “regular life” right out the window. (More ultrasound photos tomorrow!)
