Somebody (perhaps Ladybug Girl) had a big, big weekend. This was cake time at her family party Friday night, somewhere between early present-palooza and past-bedtime special. More pictures of the festivities tomorrow. It’s time for this household to call it a night.

crap
First I dismissed it as a simple sprain, stepping out of the shower (which is really a tall cast iron tub) and feeling a funny twinge. I iced it and popped ibuprofen for a couple of days and it felt great! So I ran again, at least four miles – and again, it felt great……

Last weekend we spent some time with family, attended a wedding and relaxed in general. Oh yeah, and watched the rain. It rained non-stop the entire time we were there – except for this gorgeous double rainbow that filled the sky at sunset during dinner Saturday night – M got this photo from our dinner…
