A few snapshots from our Wednesday walk in the garden. This morning was the first morning where the nighttime temperature dipped low enough to warrant a jacket in the early morning air. The sun is rising a little later each day, and the garden glows before eight o’clock. This is a ritual of ours that we have had since E’s birth – the weeks where we miss it due to travels or weather are not the same. On Saturdays we ramble and meander…in, but mostly out, of the stroller. But Wednesdays are school days and work days, so our time there is brief. Two miles of paths through, and then we’re off to our day…a day that is always a little better than the ones that don’t start out this way.
This morning I asked E to point to things she wanted to photograph, things that caught her eye. Here they are:
