I found this drawing when I was sorting through E’s art bin. The papers were starting to fade and yellow, which is one of the reasons I started scanning the images in. The other reason is, if we don’t watch out, we’re going to be overtaken by the art. I suppose there are worse things to be overtaken by.
This drawing was of a library. The middle square was the rug, and the four sides were the walls, and the floor was covered in books. I liked this early representation of a room, sort of a birds eye view, with a really flattened perspective. And I dug the extra set of arms which come in handy when you need to lug an especially large load of books down to the circulation desk.
