Sometimes it’s hard to remember to schedule the occasional professional photography session when it seems as if we have a camera in our hand at all times. But it is a great way to mark the passage of time, to record those ages in ways that far surpass our skills and our camera’s capabilities. And it forces us to occasionally get in the picture ourselves, even if we have to be dragged in kicking and screaming. We took these photos in two sessions. The first was on the second hottest day of the year, and the session had intermittent severe downpours which would let up for five minutes at a time, and produced a lovely steam bath of approximately 120 degrees off the stone paths. The second session was on the hottest day of the year, and it is a testament to the photographer that you can not see us dripping and melting away. The girls were terrific despite this, and we love the pictures we got, especially of the two cousins together. Enjoy a few of the highlights!
