Then E and I went to the library because it was just too gray and blustery for the garden. We’re pretty stalwart supporters of the place, be it rain or shine. But we just couldn’t bring ourselves to pull the winter things out again and bundle up against the wind so we hung out at the library for a couple of hours. The two of us used to go there on Friday mornings, but when I went back to work full time last year those visits shifted to Monday afternoons with Dad. The imaginary lasso swirled in the air, a suitcase was packed and stowed under the horse’s legs and she was referring to the robotic vacuum as her “cow-dog” every time it nestled up near her on the range. I just let the camera go, trying to catch the crazy antics. Eventually I was caught in the act when this cowgirl decided to check the progress of her herd and glanced over her shoulder
