Here are a few moments from the whirlwind celebration that lasted with friends and family all weekend. We had family in from two states, and ten people under one roof… and we still managed to hit a fair share of restaurants and attractions around a super fun birthday party with E’s friends. The kids painted cars and then decorated edible ones and everyone’s creative (and silly) juices seemed to be flowing. It was nice to get some of the gang together before they all go their separate ways this fall for kindergarten, and nice to be able to throw a big bash for such an important number…five. She still has a few days to go before she’s officially five, but she seems like such a big kid to us already. We’ll share more pictures of the fun weekend tomorrow, but for today enjoy the shots of Saturday’s festivities.
And happy birthday today to the super dad in our house – his birthdays get a bit overshadowed by the preschool ones. We love you!
