E took the camera to get some shots of those few minutes of play before the baby goes to bed. We usually all pile into her room after dinner and watch her – sometimes it’s books, sometimes puzzles, sometimes animals or dolls. Sometimes all three. If she’s not too exhausted, she’s focused and will work puzzle after puzzle, one right after another. More often she’s wiped out at six o’clock and wanders around a bit like a drunken sailor until she finally grabs her burpie and book and practically begs to be put in her crib. This was a bit of a drunken sailor night – as most Mondays are for a lot of us.
