We found a lot more on this Friday, but I didn’t get the camera back out the rest of the day to photograph it. So perhaps tomorrow will be ‘friday finds on saturday’. This morning we enjoyed a sun filled bedroom and the current obsession – these memory cards. Out they get dumped, and sorted and shuffled in a way that means something to her – she’s incredibly intent on the whole thing – but with no sort of organized game playing rules yet. She loves these cards. I’ve noticed she’s always searching around for the cardinals and occasionally the ladybugs. Maybe it’s the red. Or maybe she’s got a bit of her great-grandfather in her, who never met a red bird he didn’t like. She also likes to find the monkeys. And then give them to me. This morning she found both. So I had two monkeys. Not sure what that means…
I also found the picture that inspired the whole room – and I find myself on Fridays enjoying every last part of it. What places (or animals!) did you find this Friday?
I also found a new layout for the blog – but as I was trying to get a few things a certain way, I found myself asking myself just what I was thinking? As if I need to add “rearrange the blog” to this month’s to-do list! So bear with the half done changes – at least until the cards and gifts are done.
