I’m really excited to be typing this particular post (post 999 to be exact) on our brand new iPad. I’m also excited that we dodged a bullet at home with some freakish winter tornadoes – I can’t imagine the kind of cleanup headaches some are facing this first day of the new year. What a nightmare.
Since I’m just working my around on this thing, and can’t figure out yet how to do some formatting things that I normally do, I think I’ll just surf around and find some cool ideas for bookshelves. We’re swimming in books, and have book storage on the brain. I’ll save the resolutions for another day – there’s way too much good stuff to eat still!
This might be my first sewing project I tackle this year. E falls asleep nightly on top of the books she’s reading – I’d love to have this little pouch to hang off the side of her bed for her nightly reads.
We don’t really have this set up in their rooms, but I thought this was a nifty, easy way to get some (soft) book storage close at hand.
Also cool – lots of storage in a small footprint, although I might feel a bit like we’ve moved into a Borders.
Just cool – no way around it.
And from the category of cool, cheap ideas – the instant library with rain gutters. Brilliant.
