Three hours to assemble, ten minutes to hang. The photographs aren’t very good, I know. The light is so cool, so wicked cool, which is why I said what I said in the last post. And man, if I didn’t get a half dozen people asking me why I said something so strange as “Something wicked this way comes”. I don’t know. I was tired, the light is pretty wicked, and I had just threaded 18 fins with ribbons of film for hours on end.
Regardless, the light is gorgeous and it glows in the room. We’ve got it hanging up out of the way with a binder clip until we are done with everything else and we have furniture in and see how low we want it to hang. It’s like a modern chandelier in there – the light patterns shine like it’s made up of crystals, but it isn’t. I love it.
