While it’s quite cool to see all the balloons glowing up at once to the sound of the bullhorn, the real thrill of the evening comes much earlier, before nightfall.
It’s the resurrection of the Energizer Bunny balloon – the balloon that leads off the race the following day, and the one that is most dramatic during the inflation. Again, this year, it did not disappoint.
