I consider myself a lucky, lucky girl to have lived in Italy when I was younger. This pizza is the closest thing I’ve ever tasted to the world’s greatest pizza on this side of the ocean. What a nice Thursday night dinner.

Yum! My fav pizza place in STL is The Good Pie on Olive. Their pizza is as close to Italy as I’ve ever had…we tried it for the first time after returning from a 10 day Italy trip and it was like we were still on vacation!
I’m new to your blog and a fellow St. Louisan (we live in South City) but I’ve never tried Pizzeria Tivoli. My husband and I vacationed in Italy a few years ago, and although we love the version of Italian food you can get on The Hill, I’ve never found pizza like we ate in Rome! Thanks for the recommendation.
For a non-authentic pizzeria, we love to indulge in Blackthorn Pizza. Their spicy sauce and over the top cheese is total comfort food.
becky v and Brooke – Feast magazine highlights pizza in this month’s issue. Both pizzeria Tivoli and The Good Pie are on my list. We’re going to try The Good Pie next. I know a lot of people like Blackthorn as well. Tivoli is my favorite so far.
