I have this tradition of making a birthday hat for the girls that goes along with their invitations and party themes. This year I covered F’s hat with the leftover flowers from her invitations – tons of them. I still have a few more details to add over the top, but she’s already obsessed with it. She runs into her sister’s room where it’s been residing and places it on top of her head and then marches around the third floor singing “Happy Birthday” to herself at the top of her lungs.
I finished the last half of the poetry dress for her birthday as well – it has my favorite line: I’m honey on toast. That’s my girl. Sweet, a little sticky sometimes, but completely and utterly delicious.
