It’s been baby season lately for various friends of ours, and we’re a bit behind on the acknowledgements. These are heading their way down to Texas today, but I thought I’d share them because they are so cute. The romper is for a new little boy, and the book is for his big sister. As soon as I saw the romper at City Sprouts I thought of this gorgeous wallpaper I saw recently.
I love the waves and the boats, and I know they are going to dig it. Plus, it’s ridiculously soft. Nothing better than squishy babies in soft clothes.
This shadow book seemed appropriately themed for story time with both baby and his big sister. You grab a flashlight and shine it through the pages to project the images on the ceiling or the wall while you read. City Sprouts actually had a table full of various themed rompers and matching shadow books, so if you are looking for a cute gift for a new baby and an older sibling these seem perfect.
Other things I’ve found this week (good and bad):
-
I can’t stay up until past 1:30am on a Tuesday and recover well. Constant yawning.
-
I have to get a crown on one tooth because of a crack. Hooray for dental insurance. Boo that I still have to cover half of the cost.
-
I can run if I put my mind to it. (I’m up to 2.5 miles – don’t laugh, that’s big for me, I’m a walker.)
-
My knees hurt. I might need some better shoes soon.
-
My Christmas card idea. Now I just need to find the time to start on it.
Found anything fun this Friday? Do share!
