our groundhog won’t be able to chisel his way out tomorrow

Posted on February 1, 2011 by thirdstoryies

That is not snow in the street – that’s as if someone opened a gigantic fire hydrant and flooded the pavement with water which promptly turned into a skating rink.  And this is just the prelude.  We’re hunkered down for what will be a few days of feeling grateful for a warm house and nice company, and keeping our fingers crossed that the power still surges and the company doesn’t wear thin.  Expect some photos as long as we keep our power – and our sanity.

Welcome.

This is a blog about an old house with a new life (and all the lives within it). There are plenty of stories to tell.
